Badger Meter is hiring a Senior Graphic Designer for a hybrid role (3 days a week onsite) at our Global Headquarters in Milwaukee, WI.

This position will be a part of our Global MarComm team.

The Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for the planning, organizing and tracking of tasks and projects within the brand team and also creating, maintaining and enhancing our marketing touchpoints including, but not restricted to : brochures, logos, presentations, trade shows, packaging, websites, email, social media and video.

This position will need to possess exceptional layout skills and a keen eye for typography. This position will serve as a key player in executing the brand strategy as part of the wider Global Marketing Communications strategy working closely with the Global Brand Strategy Manager.

As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will be expected to communicate and collaborate, not only with the wider Marketing Communications team but also with other employees of Badger Meter to allow you to execute tasks to the best of your ability and optimize a user's experience, putting the customer first.

Job Duties :

Partner with the wider Global Marketing Communications Team, confidently communicating and leading conversations whilst expressing constructive opinions that contribute to a successful outcome.

Present your ideas to peers and senior management, distill relevant feedback and act accordingly.The ability to take projects from initial concept through to final artwork, overseeing and taking responsibility for each phase of the process.

Take the lead on tasks and projects and always looking to develop new ideas and concepts that adhere to the overall marketing strategy.

Responsible to produce work across a variety of different media both offline and online including; brochures, presentations, logos, trade shows, packaging, social media and video.

Translate briefs into creative solutions that deliver best in class campaign messaging with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsible for organizing and scheduling of projects and tasks, you must have excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure deadlines are met and briefs are executed appropriately.

The ability to take existing best practice procedures and execute effectively across a wide range of marketing collateral.

Become a subject matter expert through learning and liaising with other Badger Meter employees to enhance the scope of your knowledge around market trends and competitor analysis.

Work closely with the Global Brand Strategy Manager to assist in contributing and executing the overall brand strategy to ensure strategic goals are met throughout the year.

Develop excellent working relationships within the Global Marketing Communications Team that assist in delivering strategies through proactive communication.Up to 10% travel required.

Education and Experience :

Bachelor's Degree in Graphic design or a related fine arts field required.5+ years of experience in a senior graphic designer position working either in-house or agency side and with extensive B2B knowledge desired;

Significant experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.

Qualifications :

Ability to demonstrate professionalism in all aspects of their work with the goal of continuous improvement required.Exceptional layout skills and a keen eye for typography required.

Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud applications including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop required.Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint from creating bespoke templates to large global presentations required.

Thorough understanding of print production techniques and creating artwork ready files with exceptional attention to detail required.

Basic experience of working with Digital Asset Management (DAM) software preferred; Additional working knowledge of video software such as Adobe Premiere Pro would be an advantage.

Previous experience of using workflow management software for project scheduling preferred.Demonstrates a proactive approach and has the ability to thrive in a busy environment required.
