JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
The Department of Plant Science in the College of Agricultural Sciences at Penn State invites applications for a part-time research support position for summer / fall 4.
The hired candidate(s) will work in the Kemanian Agroecosystems Lab.
Typical duties are :
biomass sampling and biometrics of bioenergy crops measurements in the field
biomass sampling processing in the lab including grinding and wet lab analysis is required
soil analysis work including separating rocks to calculate the soil rock fraction
database assembly with information from willow trials
This job requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid US driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
