Registered Nurse Intensive Care - ICU - Travel - (ICU RN)

StartDate : 9 / 23 / 2024 Available Shifts : 12 D Pay Rate : $2030.87 - $2655.75

The Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (SICU and Neuro ICU) has a combined total of 30 intensive care beds designed to provide specialized care to the critically ill adult (14 and older) patient.

The unit has a usual 50 / 50 split of patient population between the neuro and surgical patient population. The focus of care includes patients with life-threatening conditions related to major elective and emergency surgical procedures, multi-trauma, traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, stroke, seizure, sepsis / multi-organ system failure, hemodynamic instability and failure to wean.

The SICU and Neuro ICU patient needs encompass but are not limited to comprehensive physical assessments, intensive monitoring, treatment of laboratory values, ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring.

Required Qualifications

1.MUST Have At least one year of current experience at Level One Trauma center, they will not make an exception.

2.Trauma levels MUST be included on applicants resume and be accurate

3.1.5 years of 600+ bed academic hospital experience or 2 years of total (traveling + perm) experience

4.Competency testing - required within 48 hours of submission, sent via candidates' email. Please ensure an up-to-date email is provided at time of submission.

They will also be sent a Skills Checklist they need to complete.

5.EPIC Experience

6.Professional references must be recent - no more than 1 year old

7.NY license (# / exp). Must have a US SSN to submit.
