Compensation :

$65,000 - $91,000 yearly

Responsibilities :

• Identify and reach out to potential clients through various channels to generate leads for insurance products and services.
• Conduct consultations with potential clients to understand their insurance needs, provide information about available products, and recommend suitable coverage options.
• Deliver compelling presentations to showcase the benefits and features of insurance plans, addressing client questions and concerns.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients by offering personalized solutions, maintaining regular communication, and providing excellent customer service.
• Strive to meet or exceed established sales targets and quotas, contributing to the overall success of the sales team.
• Continuously enhance understanding of New York Life's insurance offerings, staying informed about industry trends and changes.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, applications, and policies. Follow up on leads, quotes, and applications to ensure a smooth sales process.
• Engage in networking events, workshops, and community activities to expand your client base and enhance your sales skills.
• Participate in training programs and workshops provided by New York Life to improve sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer relationship skills.
• Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards while conducting sales activities.

Qualifications :

Obtaining the necessary licenses to sell insurance products is a requirement. This includes completing pre-licensing courses and passing state insurance exams.

New York Life provides support and resources to help you obtain the required licenses.

Sales and customer service skills : Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential to effectively engage with clients, understand their needs, and present suitable solutions.

Previous sales or customer service experience can be advantageous.
