By joining the team, you will have opportunities to work on variants of projects to improve existing product accessibility experience, introduce industry leading new accessibility-first features.
You will also have opportunities to build accessibility foundations and tools for engineers across TikTok.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain shared UI frameworks and provide accessibility support.
- Support teams on product feature review, technical design consulting, adding / improving accessibility support.
- Develop and maintain automation tools like linters, static analyzers, automation tests foundation frameworks.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- 4 8 years of experience in iOS mobile application development
- Hands-on experience in building mobile applications and mobility solutions for native applications
- Solid programming experience in at least one of the following languages : C, C++, Java
- Self-motivated and independent in learning new technologies quickly.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with audio and video editing, media processing, transcoding and / or playback.
- Experience with Graphics and / or OpenGL.
- Experience with any of the following multimedia frameworks / projects is a bonus : FFmpeg, GStreamer, VLC, ExoPlayer.
