About the Role :

The Client Service Executive Director is a senior level position on the Client Service Team that serves as a lead relationship manager helping to provide exceptional client service for our families across multiple non-investment functions.

The candidate will be involved in all aspects of the client journey including day-to-day client service and account management of our top relationships, managing bespoke requests, resolving complex client issues, client onboarding, reporting, asset movement and operations, and investor portfolio reviews.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and cultivate relationships with investors by providing world class service through the processing of client requests, resolving of client inquiries, and ensuring all key client information and documentation is current
  • Proactively and independently resolve complex issues / concerns received from the client with input from senior team members
  • Engage in strategic planning with other team members and external partners (accountants, legal, insurance teams) for our families
  • Prepare client-facing communications and presentations, including periodic reporting packages, investor meeting material and monthly newsletters
  • Lead and manage the new client onboarding process, interfacing directly with external custodian and third parties in the account opening and asset transfer process for new families
  • Independently manage the third-party administrator relationships for the firm’s various Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs)
  • Facilitate day-to-day asset servicing and private investment processes for investors and assist with quarterly billing
  • Provide leadership and serve as an escalation point for all functions that the Client Service team is responsible for

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience of industry experience with a demonstrated focus on Client Service and / or Fund / Asset Management Administration (REQUIRED)
  • Experience in covering client relationships at an institutional or Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) level
  • Strong asset servicing experience
  • Strong Fund Services (fund administration, hedge funds, private equity) knowledge and experience
  • Exceptional writing, interpersonal and client service skills
  • Self-motivated / self-starter with excellent work ethic
  • Detail oriented with superior organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Evidence of strong leadership skills or previous supervisory experience
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; experience in Addepar preferred
  • Undergraduate degree required
