Assembler
Location : Mayville, WI
Pay : $19.34 per hour
Shift : Monday - Friday, 6 AM - 2 : 30 PM (mandatory overtime up to 10 hours and every other Saturday as needed)
Incentive Bonus : $1000 in three payments (no disciplines in the quarter) :
- $200 after 3 months
- $400 after 6 months
- $400 after 12 months
Job Summary : Perform various tasks fitting together manufactured and purchased parts into subassemblies or complete products (mechanical, electrical, or both).
Opportunity to advance to the Advanced Assembler #1 classification.
Essential Functions :
- Read and understand blueprints and routings to produce parts to specifications.
- Ensure the quality of produced assemblies through inspections.
- Maintain routine maintenance and keep the work area neat and clean.
- Follow rules for machine operation and guarding.
- Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality, and safety.
Qualifications :
- Skill and ability to assemble parts into subassemblies or complete products with required tools.
- Able to operate assembly equipment such as rivet machines, assembly presses, and power tools.
- Physical ability for frequent standing, sitting, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.
- Adequate visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts.
- Manual dexterity to properly operate equipment.
