The Kitchen Preparation Staff, also known as a Line Cook, is responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking meals according to recipes, and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen.
This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. The staff will assist in various kitchen operations to ensure that food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
We are looking for part-time staff.
Our new restaurant will open mid-November. Training will start from 4th week in October. We will have paid training which is $20 per hours.
Food Preparation :
Wash, chop, and prepare ingredients such as Seafood, vegetables, and meat.
Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
Assist in the preparation of sauces, soups, and other dishes.
Prepare and plate dishes with attention to presentation and quality.
Ensure that all food items are stored properly and labeled correctly.
Cooking :
Cook food according to recipes and customer specifications.
Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and mixers.
Monitor food quality and make adjustments as needed to ensure consistency.
Collaborate with the head chef and other kitchen staff to ensure timely food service.
Kitchen Maintenance :
Keep workstations, equipment, and utensils clean and organized.
Follow all sanitation and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
Dispose of waste properly and ensure that all areas are clean at the end of each shift.
Assist in receiving and stocking kitchen supplies and ingredients.
Team Collaboration :
Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to fulfill orders correctly and promptly.
Assist in training new kitchen staff as needed.
This position may include assisting in dishwashing duties as needed, depending on the situation.
Skills and Qualifications :
Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is preferred.

Sushi Ginza Onodera (sushionodera.com) We are going to open restaurant same concept as Hawaii. The training will start from end of October, and we are willing to pay more for the training.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus, make recommendations, and take food and beverage orders
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately
- Upsell additional items to enhance the guest experience
- Process payments using POS systems or cash registers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
Skills
- Strong guest relations skills
- Ability to upsell products and services
- Proficiency in basic math for order accuracy and payment processing
- Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS is a plus
- Knowledge of fine dining etiquette is preferred
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Familiarity with cash register operations
