ARNIE BAUER CHEVY GMC IS SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED AND PROACTIVE SERVICE MANAGER TO LEAD OUR FIXED OPERATIONS TEAM. THIS ROLE IS CRUCIAL AS WE NAVIGATE THE UNIQUE CHALLENGES OF OUR CURRENT LOCATION WHILE PREPARING FOR A MAJOR EXPANSION INTO A MUCH LARGER, MODERN FACILITY. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE A STRONG BACKGROUND IN SERVICE OPERATIONS, LEADERSHIP, AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION—AND BE READY TO DRIVE PERFORMANCE TODAY WHILE HELPING BUILD THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF TOMORROW.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
OVERSEE ALL DAILY SERVICE DEPARTMENT OPERATIONS, INCLUDING SCHEDULING, WORKFLOW, AND TECHNICIAN PRODUCTIVITY
LEAD, MENTOR, AND DEVELOP SERVICE ADVISORS, TECHNICIANS, AND SUPPORT STAFF
ENSURE AN EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE FROM CHECK-IN TO VEHICLE DELIVERY
ADDRESS CURRENT LOCATION CONSTRAINTS WITH CREATIVE, CUSTOMER-FOCUSED SOLUTIONS
MONITOR AND MANAGE KEY PERFORMANCE METRICS (RO COUNT, LABOR HOURS, CSI, ETC.)
IMPLEMENT STRATEGIES TO DRIVE MORE SERVICE TRAFFIC AND RETAIN CUSTOMERS
MAINTAIN FULL COMPLIANCE WITH MANUFACTURER AND COMPANY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
COLLABORATE WITH OTHER DEPARTMENTS TO SUPPORT OVERALL DEALERSHIP PERFORMANCE
QUALIFICATIONS :
PROVEN EXPERIENCE AS A SERVICE MANAGER OR SENIOR SERVICE ADVISOR IN A DEALERSHIP ENVIRONMENT
STRONG TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE OF GM VEHICLES AND SERVICE PROCEDURES PREFERRED
EXCELLENT LEADERSHIP AND ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS
ABILITY TO WORK IN A DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENT AND ADAPT TO CHANGE
HIGH CUSTOMER SERVICE STANDARDS AND PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITIES
PROFICIENT WITH DEALERSHIP DMS AND SCHEDULING SOFTWARE TEKION
