We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview : The Senior Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager will play a critical role in supporting project management activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the planning, execution, and management of construction projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement solutions.
- Manage and track project submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Support the preparation of project reports and presentations for clients and senior management.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and promote a culture of safety on-site.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and project staff as needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 Years of experience in project engineering or construction management, preferably within a general contracting environment.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly with all stakeholders.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
