Assistant Superintendent
Inhance Construction Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Assistant Superintendent to join our Field Operations team and help oversee the construction of affordable multifamily housing projects. Reporting to the Superintendent, you'll play a critical role in supervising select trades, managing Inhance field staff (Punch Carpenters and Laborers), and supporting the daily progress of multiple active projects. Key Responsibilities
- Support 23 concurrent multifamily projects totaling approximately 120 units.
- Supervise Inhance punch carpenters and laborers, and oversee selected trade subcontractors.
- Assist in coordinating inspections, jurisdictional testing, and site documentation.
- Report performance or delays by subcontractors to the Project Superintendent.
- Generate and manage punch lists for timely completion of work.
- Support schedule development and ensure timely completion of assigned scopes.
- Maintain jobsite documentation and participate in safety / subcontractor meetings.
- Oversee timely delivery and storage of materials for assigned areas.
- Monitor field conditions and ensure compliance with safety programs and site cleanliness.
- Review plans for accuracy and help resolve conflicts in the field.
- Validate layout measurements and compliance with plans and applicable codes.
- Collaborate with consultants and inspectors, managing responses to field reports.
- Participate in company training and uphold all legal and regulatory compliance standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Associate's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum 2 years of experience in multifamily construction supervision.Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel; Procore experience is a plus.Strong communication and organizational skills.Knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, and field operations.Spanish fluency is a plus.Benefits
