S. residents. Responsibilities The Licensed Inpatient Social Worker provides social work interventions for Medical Center patient and family needs.
Some responsibilities include but are not limited to : completes a psycho / social assessment for care planning and care transitions, ensuring the appropriate resources are in place to facilitate a safe and timely hospital discharge plan, developing plans for ongoing treatment through services and agencies;
providing short-term adjustment counseling to assist with emotional, social, and economic stresses of illness and disability.
- We deliver inspired people to do meaningful work." Qualifications Required : + Master's of Social Work from an accredited college or university and Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work (LICSW) license+ 2 years of Social Work experience in an inpatient settingStrong interpersonal skills;
- a working knowledge of individual and family dynamics; strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, an understanding of systems and how to work within systems;
- an understanding of the impact and implications of disease and the course of disease; excellent communication skills; the ability to perform psycho / social assessments;
