Your Opportunity

TechSource is hiring a full-time Technical Program Analyst to support the Strategic Materials Production Modernization office and its nuclear deterrence mission with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Defense Programs, NA-192.

You'll work with a team and, as a programmatic liaison, the national security laboratories and nuclear weapon production facilities who are engaged in managing technical work to modernize our nuclear stockpile.

You'll work a hybrid schedule with onsite work at Department of Energy's (DOE) Forrestal building in downtown DC (onsite work 3 days / remote work up to 2 days weekly).

What You Will Do

  • Manage an exciting and diverse portfolio - you will directly support an emerging opportunity to modernize NNSA capabilities.
  • Provide input to a broad array initiative ranging from deploying new technologies, new facilities, and restoration of existing processes.
  • Organize, plan, schedule, implement, control, and analyze performance on various projects and programs.
  • Create and implement plans and processes to meet program performance including schedule, quality, cost, and security requirements.
  • Support the modernization of technologies and capital acquisitions at NNSA sites.
  • Coordinate interfaces with other offices and assist with identifying programming and planning requirements
  • Present updates contractor (M&O's and other contract vehicles) activities, requirements, and statuses.
  • Identify and report on issues or related problems and potential risks.
  • Maintain expertise on relevant management tools and technologies and provide inputs to various deliverables.
  • Drive process improvement and innovation. Create plans and processes required to meet all performance, schedule, quality, cost, and security requirements.
  • Some travel will be required (20%)

What You Will Need

  • Master's degree in science or engineering field.
  • 10 or more years of program or project management experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with DOE / NNSA / DoD programs preferred .
  • Active DOE Q or DoD TS security clearance preferred .
