Job Title : Inventory Control Specialist (Warehouse)

Location : Downey, CA

Pay : $26-$27 / hr

Contract for 3-4 months

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Inventory Control Specialist to join our client's warehouse team. This role is responsible for daily inventory maintenance, reconciliation, and ensuring the accuracy of our warehouse stock records.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform daily counts of all full goods and raw materials in the warehouse, using manual methods or handheld scanners.
  • Research and reconcile daily inventory variances to maintain accurate records.
  • Reconcile daily, monthly, and annual inventory counts with the SAP computer system.
  • Identify and report close-dated products to minimize waste and ensure product quality.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to resolve discrepancies and improve inventory processes.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
  • Previous experience in warehouse, inventory, or stock control roles preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar warehouse management systems is highly desirable.
  • Experience using handheld scanners and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
