Branch Manager II
Position Summary
The key purpose of this position is to direct the operations of the Branch, ensuring organizational, financial, operational, service and growth plans are met in conformance with established policies, procedures and regulations.
Other related duties as assigned.
Branch Type 2 generally has at least 10 employees including the manager.
Percent Responsibility
65% Oversees the daily operations of the branch including security of the staff, physical assets and member non-public information.
Acts as mentor to provide feedback to team and holds individuals accountable for their actions. Assists members as needed by offering appropriate solutions to requests.
Monitors all branch activity to ensure compliance with established credit union policies and procedures. Monitors branch operating goals relative to established objectives and ensures appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory results.
Engages in Business Development activities within the operating areas of the branch.
20% Hires, reviews, schedules, trains and monitors the work of the branch employees; conducts performance reviews, allocates resources to meet operational needs within the department and reviews and approves, denies or modifies department recommendations from employees.
Provides guidance to employees so they can assist members with new accounts, new loans and other account servicing requests.
10% Maintains communications with main office, prepares and submits standard reports and attends scheduled management meetings.
Actively engages with peers and VP to recommend process and efficiency improvements.
5% Completes all other tasks, assignments, special projects or functions as required.
Required Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
