Senior Engineering Project Manager

Progressive Design, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Manager. This is a full time / direct hire position that is located in Midlothian, VA (Richmond, VA area) .

Key Requirements & Responsibilities : Project execution managing scope, schedule and budgets for Engineering & Design and Engineering, Procurement & Construction projects for multi disciplined, heavy industrial engineering consulting firm Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery and meeting financial objectives Bachelor’s degree in Engineering , Project / Construction Management 10+ years’ experience in a consulting engineering industrial environment Job Responsibilities : Control projects efficiently and effectively ensuring projects run according to schedule and are meeting financial objectives Motivate team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities, and project milestones Responsible for managing risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery Conduct project reviews, monitoring cost, schedule, technical and client relationship status Minimum Requirements / Qualifications : Commitment to helping our project team and clients be successful Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills Demonstrated project management experience, including tracking and planning projects Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-schedule and within budget Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands Ability to self-manage daily and weekly activities in order to aggressively complete project and management requirements Ability to re-organize project tasks and task priorities as necessary to ensure project milestones are met Experience drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary Ability to work well in a team setting and communicate effectively with clients, designers, engineers, field staff, suppliers / subcontractors, and other contractors at project sites Position will require availability to travel to various client sites local and outside the Richmond, VA area Benefits : We offer a fast paced, exciting work environment with a competitive compensation package including : Health Care Benefits, Paid Time Off & Holidays, Flexible work schedules, Work life balance, Paid overtime, Performance based bonus, 401K match and Tuition reimbursement Company Overview : We hire the best in Engineering & Design!
