A company is looking for a part-time eCommerce sales tax accountant.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and transmit accurate sales and use tax returns to jurisdictions
Manage state registrations and de-registrations, and reconcile client payments
Communicate proactively with clients to address sales tax questions and concerns
Required Qualifications
3+ years of professional accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
Solid grasp of technology and ability to learn new programs
Experience with QuickBooks or knowledge of state and federal sales tax laws is a plus
Experience with sales tax software (e.g., Avalara, TaxJar) is advantageous
