Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrols

As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrols in Bellevue, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication with clients and visitors. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $25.50 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sat 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor the premises for unusual or suspicious behavior and report any concerns as directed by site protocols.
  • Assist with controlling access to the location, checking credentials as required and helping to maintain an orderly flow of people.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client staff to uphold site policies and procedures.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, or issues according to established protocols.
  • Adapt to varying environments and conditions as needed based on the specific requirements of the location.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A valid security guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
