Head-huntress.com has a direct hire opportunity for an Electrical Project Engineer / Senior Electrical Designer with a reputable client in Webster Groves, MO.

Job Summary :

Our client, a leading engineering firm, is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer / Senior Electrical Designer to join its team.

The selected individual will collaborate with engineers, designers, and professionals to design and deliver innovative electrical systems for diverse projects.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and implement electrical systems, including lighting, power systems, emergency power systems, and one-line / riser diagrams.
  • Conduct studies such as arc flash analysis and short-circuit studies, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards.
  • Lead comprehensive electrical system design and layout, field investigations, and construction administration.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and mentor less experienced engineers and designers.
  • Solve complex technical challenges and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

Requirements

Must-Haves :

  • Experience : 6+ years of electrical project experience (or 10+ years for non-degreed candidates).
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or significant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Technical Expertise : Strong background in designing electrical systems and conducting electrical studies.
  • Software Skills : Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and electrical analysis tools (SKM or EasyPower).
  • Certifications : E.I.T. or P.E. registration preferred but not required.

Nice-to-Haves :

  • Project Leadership : Experience in guiding less experienced engineers and collaborating in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Industry Involvement : Active participation in professional organizations for personal and technical development.
  • Advanced Certification : P.E. registration is preferred.
