Social Worker LCSW (Part Time) - Palliative Care

Description

This is a part time (24 hours / week) position supporting Palliative Care.

Provides psychosocial assessment and delivery of counseling, social work and emotional support services to terminally-ill patients, and / or palliative services to patients and their families.

Works as a team member to identify problems and assist patient / family members in exploring realistic options, decision making and problem solving.

Required Qualifications :

Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling. Graduate from an accredited school preferred. Or Ph.D. in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling.

Graduate from an accredited school preferred.

• Coursework / Training : Training in family counseling and case management.
• California Clinical Social Worker License upon hire or
• California Marriage and Family Therapist License upon hire.
• 1 year Experience in a health care setting or related field.
