Ideal Candidate :
Open to Associate Level to Sr. Level candidates)
- Minimum 3 years experience in analog and mixed-signal design for precision instrumentation and signal conditioning
- Aerospace, Avionics, Defense industry experience preferred
- Proficiency with design and simulation tools (e.g., PADS, LTSpice).
- Experience with DO-160 testing preferred
- AC design experience
Shift : 100% on-site, M-F 8 : 00AM - 5 : 00PM
Salary : Negotiable based on experience (Target Range : $90,000 - $135,000 / yr)
Position Summary
As an Electrical Design Engineer , you will work on designing avionics, power electronics, and battery systems for high-performance, safety-critical applications.
- You will engage in the full product lifecycle, including concept, design, implementation, testing, certification, and field application.
- Your work may include products such as cockpit displays, local and remote sensing, data conversion, lithium battery management, AC / DC power conversion, and in-seat power solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design analog front-end circuits including amplifiers, ADC / DAC interfaces, and filters for accurate signal processing.
- Lead mixed-signal system integration for data conversion and filtering stages.
- Research new components, technologies, and methods for new and existing designs.
- Collaborate with layout, mechanical, software, and certification teams.
- Troubleshoot hardware using tools like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.
- Design and integrate manufacturing tools as needed.
- Create detailed design verification documents, testing protocols, and component selection rationales.
Candidate Requirements
Must Have :
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in analog and mixed-signal design for precision instrumentation and signal conditioning.
- Proficiency with design and simulation tools (e.g., PADS, LTSpice).
- Strong understanding of signal integrity, EMI / EMC design (e.g., RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-810 / 461).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred :
- Experience with Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT).
- Experience in the aviation industry.
