About The Position

A facility is seeking an emergency medicine physician for locum tenens coverage.

In Tell City, IN, you can explore the scenic Ohio River with a relaxing walk or picnic at Sunset Park, which offers beautiful river views and playgrounds.

For a bit of local history and unique shopping, visit the Tell City Historical Society Museum and the various quaint shops downtown.

The position primarily consists of 12-hour shifts, with some 24-hour shifts occasionally required. The typical hours are 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am, with occasional shifts from 7 am to 7 am.

The candidate must be comfortable working as a solo provider and proficient in ER procedures. Requirements include an active IN license and DEA, along with current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS.

Board certification or eligibility in any specialty with ER experience is also necessary. The facility uses Medhost and the credentialing process takes approximately 30 days for temporary privileges.
