This role will support clients within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with opportunities to expand support to other defense and security-related organizations.
The ServiceNow Sr. Developer is responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of ServiceNow applications.

What You Will Do :
- Help translate complex business requirements into technical designs and solutions using ServiceNow.
- Lead the development of ServiceNow applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to other ServiceNow developers.
- Develop, configure, and enhance ServiceNow applications.
- Stay current with ServiceNow products, features, and industry trends to drive innovation.
- Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for improving existing ServiceNow implementations.
- Conduct reviews of functionality developed by ServiceNow development team and perform unit, system, and integration testing.
- Debug and fix technical problems.
- Support the development of detailed technical and functional documentation.
- Provide demonstrations of developed applications to product owners and end users.
- Participate in platform upgrade activities including regression testing and reconfiguration.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of ServiceNow solutions.
What you must have :
- 10 or more years of IT Developer or Computer Engineering experience supported by ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS, CAD).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- 2 or more years of experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.
- 2 or more years of expertise in ServiceNow Modules such as GRC, SPM, and ITSM, as well as with App Engine, Scoped Apps, and Service Portal.
- 2 or more years of experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls, as well as working in an Agile environment.
- Skilled in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, SQL, and XML.
- Experience with web services integration, specifically Mid-Server, SOAP and REST.
What we'd like you to have :
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience with ServiceNow SAP ERP Canvas.
- Experience with ServiceNow automated testing framework (ATF).
- Ability to commute to client or corporate offices within the Washington, DC metropolitan area 2-3 days per week.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people at all levels.
