About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse - Emergency Care Job Specialty : Emergency Care Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Mid - 12x3 - 3 PM to 3 AM, 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred License : Current State RN License or Compact RN License Certifications : - BLS (American Heart Association) - ACLS required for experienced RNs.
New graduate nurses must obtain ACLS by the end of the clinical orientation period. - PALS required for experienced RNs.
New graduate nurses must obtain PALS by the end of the clinical orientation period. - Crisis intervention training required within 12 months of hire / transfer - TNCC required within 6 weeks of hire for experienced RNs.
New graduate nurses must obtain TNCC within 18 months of hire / transfer date, for trauma designated facilities. Must-Have : - Associate's Degree in Nursing Job Description : - Responsible for patient assessment, patient care planning, and provision of quality nursing care to an assigned group of patients for a defined work period - Provides direction and supervision to LVN / LPNs, nursing assistants, unit secretaries, and other clinical / clerical associates - May function as charge nurse for the unit when assigned - Involves provision of patient care / service to older adolescent, young adult, adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients - Work in a hospital serving a diverse patient base with specialized services catering to children's unique medical needs, including Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care, Emergency Services, and specialized programs for various medical conditions.
