Stonehenge of Ogden is looking for an amazing Registered Nurse to join our dynamic nursing team!
About us : Stonehenge of Ogden is a *beautiful * 52 bed skilled nursing facility located by Ogden Regional Medical Center.
We are a short term rehab building where our patients typically stay less than 100 days and we have some Long-term patient’s also.

It is important to us to provide a positive work environment. Our Nurses use their skills on a daily basis, caring for various types of injuries, illnesses and surgeries.
We have a team of practitioner’s who are in house and engaged with our staff.
Responsibilities : Our nurses are responsible for medication administration, treatments, nurse assistant delegation, admissions / discharges and documentation.

- Job Summary : *
- Provides quality care to acute, subacute and chronically ill patients / residents.
- Administer medications and treatments according to the standards of care and maintain competency in all required nursing skills.
- Provides direction to CNA's and monitors the workflow of the unit to ensure coordination of care. Uses the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to our patients.
- Maintains accurate inventory of medications at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Ensures accurate distribution of medications to all patients / residents according to the 5 rights. Monitor for medication side effects.
Ensures that medications are provided in a manner consistent with manufacture's guidelines.
- Must be able to pass all background checks.
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push and pull intermittently during working hours, as well as walk / stand for long periods of time.
- Participate in report meetings at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Attend staff meetings .
- Communicate with patients / residents, guardians and family members on the current condition and needs of patients and other interdisciplinary colleagues, including provider, to plan, implement and evaluate care.
