Clark Road Animal Clinic is seeking a Medical Director to join our amazing five-doctor animal practice in Sarasota, FL.

You'll be joining a full-service, collaborative team. In addition to joining our five full-time doctors and two part-time doctors, you will be supported by a team of technicians and our practice manager.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key medical communication liaison between the hospital and area leadership.
- Partner with the Practice Manager to manage the hospital as role models and champions of United Veterinary Care’s brand to provide consistent high-quality care and unmatched client experience.
- Train the team on hospital guidelines and practices. Supervise and ensure compliance.
- Teach and coach on case management, exam room communication, annual reviews, and excellent client service.
- Support regular staff meetings and hold all staff accountable for knowing what has been discussed.
- Set the medical vision for the hospital, advocating and ensuring medical quality with optimum client experience.
- Work supportively with the hospital manager in understanding administrative and personnel issues while building effective teams.
- Engage associate veterinarians by developing talent, creating collaborative relationships, and delivering consistent results.
- Make sound judgments and utilize UVC leadership when needed.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
- Active, or ability to obtain, FL license in good standing to practice.
