About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Operating Room (OR) Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 8-Hour Days, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM, Monday - Friday Guaranteed Hours : 32 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience License : Required for submission Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have : Certified through NBSTSA Job Description : Work in a facility with 2 OR suites, 1 endoscopy room, and 1 procedure room.
- Handle 20-30 cases per month.- Be part of a team with a focus on teamwork and flexibility.- Be open to adjusting shift schedules for specific days that require longer hours.
- Generally, no work on holidays as the facility is typically closed.- Participate in call with other team members to ensure a balanced workload.
- Ability to float to sterile processing as required.- Familiarity with the MEDITECH 5.66 charting system is preferred.- Orientation on the floor will continue until the traveler feels ready;
this varies based on skill level.- Scrubs will be provided.
