EHC is currently looking for a Quality & Safety Coordinator for a client located in Middlesex, NJ.
Job Summary :
The primary functions of this person are :
- Update the Quality and Safety manuals as needed.
- Keep all employees trained in the quality and safety procedures and provide documentation of all training.
- Make sure all employees are training on the appropriate procedural tasks associated with a job function.
- Provide claim information on damaged material to vendors and accounts payable.
- Review any quality complaints, issue nonconformances, respond to quality alerts
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities :
Quality
- Provide information on ASTM, API and ASME specifications to customers and salespeople.
- Interact with employees to uncover areas in need of improvement.
- Update the quality manual as needed.
- Retrain employees affected by the changes.
Safety
- Meet with the Safety Committee monthly, or after an accident, to discuss any problems, and any necessary changes to the Safety Manual.
- Keep management updated of any safety concerns.
- Retrain employees affected by the changes.
- Conduct compliance audits to the Safety Manual
Qualifications and Experience :
Bachelor degree or experience in quality or safety
Desired Skills and Traits :
- Bilingual
