PositionResponsibilities :

• Supervise and coordinate varioussubcontractors to ensure contractcompliance
• Act asFirstInCommand on projects and be professional courteous respectfuland helpful to everyone at all times
• Assume responsibility for the productivity ofcrafts efficient use of materials and equipment and contractualperformance of the project
• Provide technical manpower means and methodinput to the estimating process asrequested
• Monitor andensure workers and all subcontractors safety and report allaccidents IMMEDIATELY to Safety Director
• Investigate all accidents and fill out anAccident Form completely
• Conduct effective and inclusive morninghuddles with crews to coordinate daily and weeklyactivities
• Conductweekly safety meetings and all progress meetings asrequired
• Act as asafety champion on all projects and lead this role by example.Enforce all safety rules and write violations when workers are notfollowing company safety procedures
• Correct unsafe conditionsimmediately
• Reviewclarify and understand the overall project scope as well as eachindividual subcontractor scope plans and specifications scheduleestimate of selfperformed work cost codes general and specialconditions
• Review andunderstand subcontractor scope and schedule
• Work with the Project Manager to develop theProject Schedule. Determine trade staffing and material tool andequipment requirements and confirm availability with FieldOperations.

Confirm Subcontractors can meet schedule requirements.Review schedule with customer.

• Review project safety security logisticslayout labor (NMA UAW etc.) permit and general and specialcondition requirements
• Implement Safety / Security Program includingsetup of office and laydown areas parking and other general andspecial condition requirements as required
• Establish project survey and base layoutcontrol and benchmarks
• Expedite and provide direction to staff forselfperformed work. Determine quantities materials tools equipmentand crews necessary to perform the work and expedite delivery.

Provide daily leadership and direction to Client and subcontractorpersonnel. Assure quality cost schedule and client satisfactiongoals are being met.

Complete all requirements to turn work over tothe customer

• Maintaina positive working relationship with the customer AE subcontractorslabor and other construction team members. Attend progress meetingsas required and provide required information to the projectteam
• Maintainrequired project documentation such as Plans (with approvedchanges) specifications asbuilts shop drawings samples inspectionstest reports meeting minutes and daily logs
• Provide daily field reports to the mainoffice including labor codes to the assigned codes. Providepercentage complete information on Client and subcontractor work asrequested
• Maintainrecords and provide the PM information regarding changes in scopeand schedule for pricing to the customer
• Handle all labor relations and jurisdictionaldisputes
• Assist withall closeout requirements

RequiredSkills

• Strong understanding of civil / sitearchitectural / finish mechanical and electricalwork
• Thoroughknowledge of all aspects of construction (technology equipment andmethods) craft agreements jurisdiction negotiations engineeringcost control schedules and safety required
• Excellent communication organizationinterpersonal and supervisory skills areessential
• Ability toread understand and interpret plans andspecifications
• Thorough working knowledge of OSHA and safetysecurity and environmental rules andregulations
• Experience working with Primavera Prolog andViewpoint
• Excellentwith problemsolving and planning

RequiredExperience

• Candidates must have 8 years experience as aSuperintendent on Industrial projects leading large multiunioncrews
• Candidates musthave a 4year engineering degree or equivalent combinations oftechnical training and / or relatedexperience
• 10 hoursof MIOSHA Class
• OSHA30 and / or MUST Modules
• First Aid and CPRClass
• AccidentInvestigation Class
