Job Description
Utah Office of State Treasurer seeks a full-time Cash and Investments Manager, an analytical role involving, among other critical responsibilities :
- primary management of approximately $500 million in state bank assets
- secondary management of the $34 billion state fixed-income portfolio
- operational support of $1.4 billion diversified long-term assets
- primary operational support to state employee benefit programs

Qualifications
- Preference will be given to those with a Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Masters degree or MBA, CFA or CTP, or those with experience in a related field.
- Preference will be given to those with 3-years+ experience in treasury or investment management field with a preference for fixed-income portfolio management.
Supplemental Information
This position reports directly to the State Investment Officer and works closely with the Finance Director and Chief Deputy.
This is a career service exempt job. Employees placed in this title are appointed, non-classified, exempt from 67-19-12, and are required to be placed in a position schedule of AC (Employees in Offices of Elected Officials).
