Summary
We seek a dedicated and experienced Mechanical Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate will be a resident with a stable work history and a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage 5 to 10 active commercial mechanical projects simultaneously.
- Utilize estimating and scheduling software to plan and track project progress.
- Coordinate with field teams and fabrication units to ensure seamless project execution.
- Engage hands-on with customers, ensuring their requirements and expectations are met.
- Participate in project design and construction phases, particularly in mission-critical data center environments.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and local regulations.
- Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- A resident of Phoenix, Arizona, with a stable work history.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent hands-on field experience in plumbing, piping, or sheet metal on commercial projects.
- Proficiency in estimating and scheduling software.
- Strong understanding of field coordination and fabrication processes.
- Experience in mission-critical data center projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
