Responsibilities
Valley Behavioral Health is seeking a dynamic Outpatient Therapist PRN to work in a Group therapy setting. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with the following groups :
- Veterans
- Substance Abuse
- Mental Health
The Licensed Outpatient Program Therapist performs social services and psychotherapy functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while providing assessment, diagnosis, and psychotherapy treatment of individuals, couples, families, and groups to assist patient’s in achieving their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, psycho-education, complete specialized clinical psychotherapy services for patients / families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term family therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed.

Qualifications
Must Have :
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, mental health, or related degree preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a healthcare setting or managed care company with experience in patient assessment, treatment planning, utilization management, and / or case management
- LMSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, LIASC, LMFT, Associate or Independent licensure required or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Valid CPR card upon hire
- Successful completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior (SAMA) within days of employment
