Position Summary : This position is primarily responsible for ensuring that the organization reaches its sales goals and occupancy targets.

As part of an interdependent team of skilled and caring people, the Marketing Counselor must work collaboratively with others and deliver excellent and professional customer service to both external and internal customers.

Key Responsibilities :

• Become thoroughly familiar with the Sales Process and Options and Custom Features Process, as well as the Move-in Process.
• Provide the community with information and respond to questions from prospective residents.
• Generate new leads by implementing an aggressive resident referral program.
• Generate leads through cold calling from database.
• Generate leads from community outreach.
• Handle incoming phone calls, website inquiries, and walk-in guests with great care. Greet all Marketing Office visitors in a warm and welcoming manner;

perform appropriate information gathering.

• Assist with the planning of and participate in informational meetings, marketing and sales events.
• Implement and provide intensive communications with prospective residents through verbal and personal written communication.
• Meet phone-out and appointment goals with qualified prospective residents on a consistent basis.
• Consistently meet sales and occupancy goals.
• Maintain basic contact and prospect information in the CRM system; update the contact and referral information in a timely manner, Accurately identify status, activity and result codes with contacts and prospects in CRM system ad thoroughly document all contacts with prospects.

Become thoroughly familiar with the FINAID program used in the financial screening process and accurately record all financial information.

Plan and complete duties with minimal direction from supervisors.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor of Arts or Science diploma or equivalent in business, marketing, psychology, or related field; minimum of two years sales / marketing experience.
• Previous computer experience and advanced computer proficiency; CRM database experience preferred.
• Must be energetic, positive, resourceful, accountable and able to multi-task.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Effective communication and interpersonal relations skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, other staff members, residents, or prospects.

The ability to work with technical computerized data processing systems.

Real Estate Experience

Minimum of two years sales / marketing experience in Independent Senior Living and Life Plan Communities.

Work Schedule :

Full-Time, Monday-Friday 9 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM
