System Integration Engineer/ MuleSoft Developer

As the Senior System Integration Engineer, you will spearhead the design and implementation of sophisticated data integration solutions.

Your role is pivotal in leading the strategic vision for data integration, incorporating advanced technologies like digital twin, Azure, MQTT, data streaming, and Snowflake to drive innovation and elevate the organization's data capabilities.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Design and develop and implement end-to-end integration solutions using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform, ensuring seamless connectivity between applications, systems, and data sources.

2. Develop and provide technical guidance to juniors in implementing APIs, leveraging MuleSoft's API-led connectivity approach Develop and RESTful and SOAP web services.

3. Design scalable and resilient integration solutions and implement robust error handling and logging mechanisms to ensure the reliability and traceability of integrations.

4. Define and drive security measures, including authentication and authorization, to safeguard data during continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.

5. Ensuring performance tuning and optimization of MuleSoft applications to perform optimal throughput and responsiveness.

6. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, enterprise architects to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions.

7. Provide roadmap for comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and reliability of MuleSoft applications, MQTT-based communication protocols for real-time, efficient data exchange between diverse IoT devices and MuleSoft.

8. Provide and review technical documentation, including design specifications, deployment guides, operational procedures, code standards, design reviews and solution architecture.

9. Collaborate and to implement monitoring systems for MuleSoft applications and provide support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

10. Implement integrations, maintaining a synchronized representation to incorporate change management principles into the development lifecycle, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.

11. Implement MuleSoft security best practices, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of data throughout the integration processes.

12. Performs other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years extensive experience in advanced MuleSoft development and integration projects.
  • 1-2 years proven expertise in integrating digital twin, Azure, MQTT, IOT, AI and Snowflake technologies.
  • 3-5 years of strong understanding of API design, RESTful web services, and advanced integration patterns.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and best practices for complex integration scenarios.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • 5+ years of Mule 4.3+, Anypoint Studio, Anypoint code builder, Advanced API Development, design and data transformation using Data weave
  • 5+ years of experience in Design center, Exchange, API manager,
  • 5+ years of experience of Production support of on-prem and cloud applications, monitoring and troubleshoot.
  • 5+ years of experience in integration of digital twin, Azure services, MQTT communication, AI, and Snowflake data warehousing within the broader data integration landscape.
  • Strong expertise in Mule connectors and develop custom connectors.
  • Java, Python and / or other advanced programming languages.
  • Integration Patterns (Advanced), Anypoint Platform, Git, Maven, Jenkins, Advanced MUnit, Advanced DataWeave.
  • Abilityto unlock data using real time data API and automateback-office manual operations using Mule RPA and AI.
  • Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
  • Skilled in developing MuleSoft CloudHub applications and integrating with various On-prem environments. Utilize Kafka for data streaming, ensuring real-time data processing and event-driven architectures.
  • Knowledge of Linux proficient in Azure services related to integration and experience with MuleSoft RPA
  • Familiarity with "Gen AI" technologies and methodologies.
  • Adherence to C4E best practices; ability to contribute to C4E initiatives.
