We are looking for a licensed Special Education Teacher to join VocoVision for a full-time remote position in Georgia . This role involves working with K-8th grade students to deliver specialized instruction and support students with various learning disabilities.

The caseload includes starting with 10 students and potentially more as the school year goes on , focusing on both evaluations and individualized instruction.

Special Education Teacher Job Description :

• Provide Specialized Instruction : Deliver customized learning plans based on students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), addressing academic, social, and emotional challenges.
• Collaborate with Educators and Parents : Work closely with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure appropriate support is in place for student success.

Provide guidance on modifications, accommodations, and behavior management strategies.

• Conduct Assessments and Progress Monitoring : Regularly assess student progress and update IEPs as needed, ensuring all students meet their academic and developmental goals.
• Develop and Implement Learning Programs : Design and implement programs that address learning disabilities, behavioral issues, and developmental delays.

Conduct workshops or training sessions for staff and parents to promote student success.

Special Education Teacher Job Qualifications :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
• Active Special Education teaching license in Georgia (or ability to obtain it).
• At least 2 years of experience working in a school setting.
• Experience in providing virtual instruction is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Reliable computer & high-speed internet (no Chromebooks / tablets permitted).
