Responsibilities Include :
- Conduct month-end closing activities, including accrual entries and reconciliations.
- Perform variance analysis.
- Evaluate market conditions and assess financial impacts.
- Prepare presentations for management meetings.
- Manage trading activities and ensure accurate recording.
- Perform daily reconciliations and act as a backup for specific activities.
- Summarize and analyze data for management reports.
- Offer recommendations for process enhancements.
- Review transactions for compliance with accounting principles and propose corrective measures as needed.
Qualifications :
- Proficiency in financial analysis and prioritization of tasks.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel; familiarity with financial software preferred.
- Strong level of attention to detail
Education / Experience Requirements :
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Experience : minimum of 2-3 years of experience, ideally in public accounting audit but those relevant Oil & Gas / Trading experience is also a possibility
