Part Time PRN EMT CNA

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Service Delivery Team Support Quality Assurance Play a supportive role to LVNs on shift.
• Engage in vital sign monitoring.
• Conduct medical assessments in the absence of an LVN.
• Evaluate individuals for intoxication level and risk for detoxification symptoms.
• Check blood pressure, heart rate, and respiratory rate.
• Ask about bruising, hematoma, or rash.
• Palpate trunk and extremities for bone deformities.
• Administer breathalyzer tests.
• Inquire about cough, chest pain, or other medical complaints.
• Evaluate and record level of consciousness and visible behavior.
• Briefly screen individuals for psychiatric needs.
• Perform wound care tasks as delegated.

Administer Withdrawal assessment tools as back-up to LVNs.   SUCCESS COMPETENCIES FOR POSITION (competencies required to effectively perform the job)  FUNCTIONAL / TECHNICAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE :

• Able to deliver quality care to diverse populations, cultures and clients with co-occurring disorders in a supportive manner.
• What else is required?
• Certified Emergency Medical Technician EMT with the State of New Mexico Years of Experience as an EMT. (HT I) 0-1 year ☐ , (HT II) 1-2 years ☐ , (HT III) 2-3 years ☐ , Basic academic knowledge and understanding of Substance Use Disorders and Mental Health CPR / First Aid / AED certified.
• Must have a NM driver’s license and good driving record in good standing For bilingual bonus, must be fluent in at least one of New Mexico threshold languages (Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Dari, Arabic, Swahili, Kinyarwanda, and Diné (Navajo) Compensation and Benefits We are proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to all full-time and part-time employees over 20 hours per week.

Salary :

• $21.50 / hr  based on experience and qualifications.
