About The Position

Key Responsibilities :

Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and psychosocial conditions using standardized assessments and clinical observations.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and diagnoses.

Provide therapy interventions to improve abilities in self-care, work tasks, mobility, and leisure activities.

Educate patients, caregivers, and families on exercises, adaptive techniques, and use of assistive devices.

Modify environments and recommend equipment to enhance patient independence and safety.

Document patient progress, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.

Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team including PTs, SLPs, physicians, nurses, and social workers.

Job Requirements

Qualifications :

Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist.

NBCOT certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy).

CPR certification (as required by facility or employer).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
