Description :

This position involves case management and care coordination, including both utilization review and discharge planning.

Candidates will work with various payer types, including uninsured patients and those experiencing homelessness.

Initial assessments, InterQual criteria, and discharge planning are key components of the role.

The average caseload includes 15-20 patients seen or consulted per day.

Team collaboration, effective communication, and the ability to prioritize tasks throughout the day are essential.

Familiarity with utilization review processes is required.

Training will be provided for candidates new to InterQual criteria.

Weekend work is required every other weekend, with at least one full weekend per month.

Holidays are not mandatory, but candidates should be willing to work during holidays if needed.

Casual business attire is expected.

This opportunity is in an acute care setting.

Candidates will interact with a variety of stakeholders, including healthcare providers and patients.
