About The Position
Job Title : Mammography Technician Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology - Mammography Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (07 : 30 - 16 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 2 years, Outpatient experience required License : For start dates 2-4 weeks out, must have relevant license in hand.
For start dates 4+ weeks out, must have started the licensing process. Certifications : BLS, ARRT Must-Have : - Experience in Mammography procedures : Screening required- Cerner, Hologic Dimensions skills- PACS skills preferred- No first-time travelers Job Description : Work Monday to Friday, 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM- No call or float required- Experience with diagnostic and stereotactic biopsies is preferred- COVID-19 vaccine not required;
however, the Flu vaccine is required with medical or religious exemptions accepted- Must provide 2 supervisor references- Floating may be required within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals- Travel compliance includes university accreditation at time of graduation- Candidate must work 2 out of 3 major holidays- Medical and religious exemptions will be accepted for vaccinations with a doctor's note Additional Information : Effective travel rule requires previous employees to be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler.
