Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled Building Automation Controls Project Manager in Reno, NV. This pivotal role focuses on managing and overseeing building automation and control projects across a variety of sectors including commercial data centers, hospitals, schools, airports, and high-rise buildings.
Ideal candidates will be local with a stable work history and have at least five years of experience in building automation controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management : Oversee the full lifecycle of building automation and controls projects, from initial planning through execution and closure, ensuring projects meet time and budget constraints .
- Technical Expertise : Program, install, and service ALC, Allerton, DISTEC, Tridium, and Niagara systems. Ensure all systems meet specific project requirements and industry standards.
- Stakeholder Interaction : Work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Manage and communicate timelines and project progress effectively.
- Quality Assurance : Maintain high standards of quality control and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative work environment to achieve project goals efficiently.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of five years of experience in building automation controls.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects in data centers, hospitals, schools, or similar facilities.
- Strong familiarity with control systems including ALC, Allerton, Distec, Tridium, and Niagara.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
