We are hiring Mobile software engineer interns. During orientation, you will receive your specific assignments. Before applying, please make sure you are interested in backend development.

We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2025. Internships at TikTok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience.

This Internship Program runs for 12 weeks beginning in May / June 2025. Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following summer internship start dates below : Monday, May 12Monday, May 19Tuesday May 27 (Memorial Day May 26)Monday, June 9Monday, June 23 We will prioritize candidates who are able to commit to these start dates.

Online Assessment (Only for RD)Candidates who pass resume evaluation will be invited to participate in TikTok's technical online assessment in HackerRank.

Responsibilities - Assist in designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable distributed services for account systems and identity management.

• Work with Product Managers and business partners to support effective identity solutions.- Show commitment to the product and service, providing insights and support to the engineering team.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to support new product innovations and engineering initiatives.
• Minimum Qualifications : - Currently pursuing an Undergraduate / Graduate / Master in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline;
• Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2025;- Experience in Android / iOS software development- Basic understanding of designing and evaluating the efficiency, scalability, and stability of distributed systems.

Preferred Qualifications : - Graduating December 2025 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship.

• Willingness to learn how to drive change within an organization and contribute to complex technical projects.- Interest in building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques.
• Enthusiasm for learning about technical leadership in the domain of Identity and Access.- Experience in the development and implementation of identity, authentication, and access management.
