AllWays Health is currently seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team in Topeka, KS. Position Summary :

As a Dental Assistant at AllWays Health, you'll play a key role in supporting dental care delivery. You'll assist the dentist during procedures, ensure the treatment area is clean and organized, manage sterilization of instruments, and help provide a positive and comfortable experience for each patient.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials according to infection control protocols.
  • Greet and prepare patients for dental procedures; take intraoral X-rays when indicated.
  • Assist the dentist by passing instruments, suctioning, and mixing materials as needed.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-treatment care.
  • Document procedures accurately in patient records.
  • Ensure dental equipment is functioning properly through regular maintenance.
  • Maintain inventory of dental supplies and anticipate needs.
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines.
  • Remain CPR certified and assist in dental or medical emergencies as needed.
  • Represent AllWays Health in a professional and compassionate manner, both in the clinic and in the community.

Requirements
