Senior Financial Analyst
Selby Jennings is working with a portfolio company of one of our existing Private Equity clients on a search to add a Senior Analyst to their team.
This individual would be getting a fantastic experience on the operations side of private equity helping the team evaluate their portfolio, build out financial models, and work on planning & analysis.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain financial models through benchmarking, process analysis and existing internal corporate models
- Prepare and present scenario analyses for both corporate financial projections as well as product and service financial models
- Analyze and report on current financial status for management and shareholder reporting
- Conduct thorough research of historical financial data
- Explore investment options and present risk and opportunities
- Coordinate with the Director of FP&A, COO, CFO and the executive team on long-term financial planning
- Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 1 - 3 years of Investment Banking, Financial Analysis, Operations or other related experiences.
- Direct, hands-on experience with financial modeling and financial statement analysis. Formal training in a banking or corporate underwriting program is ideal
- Support senior investment professionals as requested with a positive, solutions-oriented approach
- High level of expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas) as well as MS PowerPoint (preparing presentations);
experience with Power Pivot and Power BI is a plus
