Bookkeeper / Tax Prep- Tempe, AZ!

Vaco Phoenix is currently assisting a local client in their search for a Bookkeeper / Tax Preparer in their Tempe AZ office! This Bookkeeper / Tax Preparer must have small CPA firm experience as well as experience preparing taxes for individuals and small businesses. This is a direct hire, fully on-site position, interviewing this week! This position is paying up to $70k per year depending on experience.

Responsibilities include :

• Accepting bank feeds, entering journal entries, and reconciling accounts
• Updating deposits, preparing after-the-fact payroll, and quarterly & annual payroll reports
• Preparing Transaction Privilege Tax reports
• Working with team members on accounting & tax review processes
• Assisting with tax planning
• Communicating and meeting with clients
• Prepare individual and corporate tax returns
• Overseeing review and quality control of work produced
• Self-managing multiple projects
• Delivering accurate and timely financial and tax information to clients
