Manufacturing Technician
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the manufacturing technician operates shaping equipment such as polishing, automatic and manual indexing head coring, scribing, dicing, sawing, grinding & chamfering machines.
The manufacturing technician provides setups and operations of up to three machines simultaneously, while working with various sized and thickness optical filter plates.
This is a fast-paced position where a member of the team can make an impact and contribute to meeting production goals.
You Will Have the Opportunity to :
Determine operation sequence of up to three machines; select programs, adjust speeds, feeds,
depths, etc.
Performs machine adjustments as specified in production orders; replace dull or damaged
tooling as required
Provide shaped substrates within process capabilities; inspect and document when process
yields fall outside process capabilities.
- Make standard configuration changes
- Deliver completed work to next operational station
- Maintain work areas and equipment as clean, stocked, operational and in safe condition
- Adhere to efficient production cycle times
Requirements & Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience using scribing, dicing, sawing & chamfering machines preferred
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment required
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration. For individuals to be considered for a security clearance, the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), conducts personnel security background investigations for the Department of Defense and other federal agencies.

S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
