Software Engineer II / AWS Cloud Engineer
FTE only, No C2C
Location : 4 days / week onsite in Merrifield, VA Mosaic District
ASCENDING Inc, is an Advanced AWS partner specializing in a variety of services and solutions surrounding Cloud Migrations, custom web app development, data analytics / big data and DevOps.
We are currently looking for an Software Engineer II / AWS Cloud Engineer to join our consulting services group.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ to 5 years of experience in a Software Engineering role working with any of the following languages;
Python, Java and / or NodeJS . The ideal candidate will also have a willingness to learn and work with a variety of languages that depend on the particular client engagement.
Heavy AWS experience will also be necessary for this role.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, or related discipline
- Experience in OOP with Python, Java and / or NodeJS
- Have Experience on setting up End to End Infrastructure on AWS .
- Have DevOp or micro Services on AWS is a big Plus!
- Heavy AWS experience(Certification Preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
