Our Urgent Care Clinic is currently seeking a hardworking, Medical Assistant to support our staff. The ideal candidate will have some background in medical work, strong communication skills and a commitment to performing clinical and administrative duties and supporting doctors through physical examinations.
The Medical Assistant is responsible for logging medical information and responding to patient inquiries. This position is the first point of contact for patients and requires a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable talking with patients face-to-face, on the phone and in writing.
Responsibilities :
- Perform Point of care Testing
- Take a patient’s blood pressure readings.
- Record health information.
- Gather and sterilize equipment used in medical procedures.
- Perform minor medical testing and analysis.
- Be able to perform basic first aid treatments.
- Handle emotional outbursts from patients and their families.
- Review patient charts for accuracy and completeness.

Experience :
- Bilingual : 1 year (Required)
- Vital signs : 1 year (Preferred)
- clinical interaction : 1 year (Preferred)
License / Certification :
Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
