Client Location : Ft. Worth, TX
Type : Contract (Remote)
Position Duties :
- Providing full-cycle RPG development including : planning, programming, testing and implementation.
- Implementing and troubleshooting complex programming changes and modifications.
- Identifying problems or potential problems with systems and / or clients.
- Communicating technical information to non-technical personnel.
- Analyzing, writing and maintaining computer applications in IBM iSeries (RPG IV, ILE).
Qualifications :
- Advanced RPG IV, ILE programming experience.
- Experience using Built-In functions
- Knowledge of Service Programs & Stored Procedures.
- Practical experience with SQL.
- Existing Source Code - follow current logic when modifying existing programs.
- Financial services or insurance industry is a plus, but not a must
