Job Summary :
The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. This position is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing inventory, and ensuring that products are accurately packed, labeled, and stored.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment and be committed to maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities :
- Unload and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Verify the quantity and condition of goods received against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in inventory reconciliation and adjustments as needed.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
- Ensure all orders are labeled correctly and include the necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with the shipping department to ensure timely dispatch of orders.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move and organize products.
- Ensure proper storage of products in designated areas, following safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and participate in safety training sessions.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, preferably in the electronics industry.
- Experience with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification is a plus).
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes physically demanding environment.
